Justin Bieber wants cheesecake for birthday

London: Singer Justin Bieber plans to spend his 17th birthday next week eating his grandmother`s homemade cherry cheesecake with his family.


The Canadian pop superstar would celebrate his birthday on Tuesday and despite being one of the world`s most famous singers, Bieber insists he just wants to celebrate the day with his mother Pattie and his beloved grandfather and grandmother, reports a website.

"Hopefully my grandparents will be out here and I`ll be able to spend time, a little bit, with them. My grandma makes the best cheesecake - cherry cheesecake. She made that for my 13th birthday," he said.

The head honcho of UTV has been good friends with the actress for a while and according to industry insiders, they have been going steady as a couple for long now.

A top industry source told a leading newspaper daily, "Vid and Sid are close. And in the past weeks they have been spotted spending quality time with each other on two occasions. The first time was when they reportedly stayed back after an awards night in Singapore and more recently when they were photographed in casual attire at a beach destination in India.''

In the past, Vidya has been linked to her co-actors Sanjay Dutt and Shahid Kapoor. In both the cases the rumours turned out to be false. But this time around, she has been spotted with Siddharth at numerous places having a good time. The actress, who is known for her stellar performances in films like ‘Paa’ and ‘Ishqiya’ may consider getting engaged to Sid soon.
Incidentally, the film corporation executive is still waiting for his divorce to come through and hence is not comfortable talking about his “friendship” with the actress just yet.

However, Vidya's secretary has rubbished all this news. He said, "Vidya has to first know Siddharth well enough to marry him. One doesn't necessarily marry people one is friendly to or has dinners with."

Shahid's Birthday Bash

Mumbai: Police played spoilsport at actor Shahid Kapoor’s 30th birthday bash on 25th February. The ‘Kaminey’ star who was celebrating his special day with close friends had to call off his bash abruptly after complaints were lodged by the local residents over loud music and noise that was being created at Olive club, a pub in Mumbai.


The media was quick to reach the spot and the Police followed. The event organisers have been held responsible for not abiding by the rules set for late night parties and events. However, no one has been arrested.

But Sasha would not have wanted things to get so ugly on his big day, especially when his ladylove Priyanka Chopra was not by his side. But a sport that he is, Shahid was cool and composed even amidst the chaos.
